USI ranked ninth in final poll

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana men’s basketball team finished 2009-10 campaign ranked ninth in the final NABC/NCAA Division II Top 25 poll. This is the first time USI has finished the season ranked in the top 10 since 2006-07 and the highest since the Screaming Eagles was ranked fourth at the end of 2004-05.
The Eagles finished the 2009-10 season with a 24-3 overall record, 15-3 in the GLVC, and set a school record with 23 straight wins to start the year.
